Mission Statement

The Chaney Community Foundation envisions all individuals having essential needs, means to optimal health, resources for education, ability to enjoy the arts, nature, and supportive family. We strive to provide what is needed for individuals to have dignity and create a healthy foundation for success.

Statement of Philanthropic Values

We will model philanthropic giving and support to younger generations as they begin to get involved with their own causes and interests. We will allow them to fund what is important to them within certain guidelines.

We will mentor younger generations by having them participate in both the family foundation and our other charitable causes and interests.

We will mobilize all the generations by channeling the family’s time, knowledge, and resources into several key areas of passion.

Operating Principles

We are committed to the principles that all people are created equal in the eyes of God and that we live in the greatest country in the world that provides tremendous opportunity for those who are willing to put in the effort to realize their full potential.

At least 85% of our annual grants will be to organizations that support advocacy, poverty, health, education, religion, culture, and the arts.
